Small brag

Ya all know I'm a big dork when it comes to our pets. Well our foster mill dog just hit a mile stone. She has been with us for about 7 months now and just learned last night to walk up the stairs to our 2nd level. We have been trying since day one to get her to do it, and it's the last thing we were having a problem teaching her to do, and she finally after all this time is doing it, she did it again 3 times this morning (we kept tossing the ball downstairs and she climbs right back up)

Elsie is going to her forever home tomorrow, I tried to convince DH that this was her one last ditch effort to get us to keep her, but he wasn't buying it. So I will be saying goodbye to my sweet, baby girl Elsie tomorrow. :-(((

YAY you should be so proud!!!!

Im so sad you have to let Elsie go tomorrow, I honestly dont know how you do it.... Take a VERY VERY strong person to do what you do with a HUGE heart!

oh so happy for Elsie that she has had such great success with you and Cain. I think you need to post a last picture of the cute little thing before she gets adopted tomorrow.

I agree, we definitely need to see a picture!

I'm sure it's sad to see her go but you have done such a wonderful job with her and now she gets to move on and make room for more successes!

Yeah, I know how you feel...I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, frogs, gerbils, turtles and fish in our home. You get so attached to each one of them and then when you lose one, you're heartbroken!!

That's really cool, sorry she has to go It must be tough, when we got our dog from her temporary foster the lady was crying her eyes out and she only had her for 3 months! I'm sure you'll get a replacement soon

Awww how cute she learned how to climb up stairs! What a great job you two have done teaching her! Little Elsie is going to a good home - you guys truly have the kindest hearts to be able to do that!

lol, this picture cracks me up, (sorry a bad pic) Elsie was laying on my lap and Cain called her name.. She hates when he picks her up, so this is the look she gave him. He took the picture.. :-)

The rescue group we volunteer with, also partnered up with a local artist, they painted this picture and part of the money with to the rescue group. Umm yeah I had to buy the print. :-)
