When are you giving the pics to him?

I ordered the digital negatives, and should be getting them within the next couple weeks. Then I thought that I would make a book for him. Not sure if I will get a photoalbum and do it or if I am going to order a book from shutterfly or something. I am going to give it to him in the Dominican on our wedding day.

My weekend kinda sucked. Jayson's father had a massive heart attack (he's okay in hospital though) and while he's waiting for surgery, he also found out he has bladder cancer. Needless to say, it's pretty positive he won't be coming to Hawaii now. Jayson is pretty upset about it, saying we should have had the wedding earlier, and not be going away. All those what if questions go through my mind now. Anyways, we are still going to go to Maui and not change our plans that way.. BUT now I think we need to have a small ceremony here before we go, for just immediate family. I'm not sure how the logistics of this will work, because I kinda want the ceremony here to be the "fake" one, and the legal one in Maui. The reverse of a Mexico situation.. heh. I've contacted my WC to see what my options are. I don't need TWO legal weddings. Argh. Anyways, I will let you guys know what happens with this but right now we are just concentrating on his dad, and hope the surgery goes okay, so then we can worry about the cancer. I know it's just life, but man.. it totally sucks sometimes. Glad I can vent to you girls!

Lisa I'm really sorry about Jayson's dad. That's horrible news. I hope he gets well soon and his surgery goes well. Geez, when it rains it pours.

 

I think a small wedding ceremony at home is a nice idea. Let us know what your WC comes up with.

Lisa, I am so sorry to read about Jayson's dad. Life is just not fair. I think he would really appreciate any way he could be involved still. What a kick in the butt!! I am so sorry!!

I got my snotty bride hankerchief for my FMIL, I will have to take pics of it. Turned out toally cute. It is a custom replica of my dress.

 

My interview went really well and I should hear something in the next few days they said.

I finished paying off our trip today. It feels soooo great!! There was a big crossing off the list!

Lisa - I am so sorry for your FIL. Damn - that sucks. I'm sure you guys can have a little something here. I'm sure Jayson is scared right now and just venting at you about the wedding because of the circumstances. Maybe your hotel will offer a symbolic wedding. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

 

Rosa - Salsa sounds fun! I can't salsa dance - but I do have rhythm so I can get it once I see it. FI thinks he thinks he can salsa - but has no rhythm. LOL!! I tried to get him to take some dance lessons so he has some basic dance moves, but he declined.

 

Our reception is going to be hillarious! I'll just have to get him liquored up! LOL!
