Invites - need some inspiration, HELP!

Hi everyone,

 

After trawling through numerous catalogues and websites I've given up on the idea of buying invites ready made, as there's just nothing that quite fits the bill (and there's the expense...). So, I've decided to come up with something myself. I'm just looking for ideas now and thought I'd ask for your help/suggestions.

 

Our colour scheme is hot pink and orange and we're getting married on the beach in Mexico. I really like starfish but not sure how to incorporate this into the invite.

 

Can anyone suggest anything??

I looked through tons of invites to get inspiration. Try Wedding Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Wedding Stationery, Wedding Shower Invitations, Prim and Pixie, and The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations to see if anything speaks to you!

 

Seach the forum too. Some of the ladies have some great DIY invites.

Have you done a search for invite templates. There are a lot of them. Also Sarah on here does invites. She is doing mine and they are incredible.

I would try using the search at the top and type in invites. There are a lot of threads with invites. HTH!

Thanks. Yes I have already done a search on here but after several days thought I'd ask for some help!

I've looked at Sarah's website already and there's some really good stuff on there. I'm in the UK though, so not really very local!

Just sit down and doodle something on a piece of paper. Pretty soon, you will come up with something that you like. Then, look through the websites that the PPs have said and you'll do fine.

That's what I am going to do.

My suggestion would be to go to a craft store like Michales or JoAnn and look at all the papers and ribbons they have to get some inspirtaion.
