I also saw this a few years ago minus the "alabama school district". I grew up in AL. and take offense that people put that and put that stereotype of stupidity label on everyone from AL. or the south. So sorry I didn't laugh.

I'm with BarefootBride stupidity knows no bounds so it's not an Alabama thing, it's a USA thing. They could have replaced that with California and it would have been funny. I laughed!

 

On the flip side you have well educated parents who verge on bizarre. My mom works at a school and the kids have to pick up garbage from their lunch before they can go to recess, and a parent actually called a conference with the principal saying her 9 year old child "respectfully declines to participate in the trash removal"....wtf?
