Photographers Matt Adcock & Sol Tamargo banned from Karisma Resorts - PLEASE HELP

Yikes!! I'm so sorry to hear about this! Hopefully the resort will realize that what they're doing is crazy and start to sort all of this out. I'm sure once you speak to your WC and your TA that they will do everything they can to help.

This whole policy thing is really getting out of control. They need to see that their business is gonna go down the drain and that brides talk. Eventually no one will be showing interest in these places

I haven't decided on a resort yet, but this was one of my top choices =( I personally asked my TA to voice my disapproval. I emailed Nancy, and I will continue to complain. I really hope this is resolved for you and for the rest of us who are interested in this otherwise amazing resort.....

Wow what a nightmare. I hope it gets straightened out in the next few months. I hope the resorts can start feeling the pressure from brides fighting back. So ridiculous.

KARISMA COMES THROUGH! Per the email I just received from Fabio, "No worries, we’ll allow “Sol Photography†for your wedding since this is recent and it does not affect any of our previously confirmed weddings."

 

My fingers are crossed that this is the final answer on this!

Just to be safe you may want to have this in writing and bring it with you, you never know. But I am glad it all worked out!

Matt has always been very vocal about his disagreement with their $500 fee policy for outside vendors, I am sure he just "rubbed someone the wrong way."
