I just thought I would share my positive experience with you all. Perhaps I am not used to good customer service since Beaches sucks ass, but I was pleasantly surprised by the company that I bought my sand from.

 

60+ Wedding Sand Ceremony Colors!

They have lots of great colors of sand and the prices are pretty good. Anyway, I ordered my sand and just barely a week later I received the package. The tape that was along all the corners was blue and when I opened it up, it was b/c the bag with the blue sand had a tiny hole in it. There was blue sand in the box, but the majority of it remained in the bag. I wasn't really concerned with it, but figured the company should know if there was something wrong with the packaging. So I emailed them and let them know that everything was fine, but there was a tiny hole. I also let her know that barely any sand was missing and I just thought they should know for future packaging. Within minutes she emailed me back and let me know she is going to mail me new blue sand immediately. She was very apologetic and I was just so impressed. Again, I have been having a horrible time with the resort that I chose, so perhaps my expectations aren't that high, but I thought I should pass the info along to a wonderful vendor! I would highly recommend them.

That is what customer service is all about! You dont often here about people saying what great customer service they received, rather you hear about the hassle people have to go through just to get what they paid for!

That's great Carly! I'm sure that the business owner appreciates it too! People are more apt to complain than praise.

 

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your resort, the pashmina guy, etc. I had a lot of crap go down, but have decided I would rather have it happen now, than at the wedding or during our marriage!

hi carly, what quantity did you order? a pound of each color, or can you get less?

I did a lb of each color (4 colors). It actually didn't seem like much. I am worried about how much it will fill the container I have, but not sure how to test it. I didn't inquire about the possibility of ordering less, but it wouldn't hurt to ask!
