I'm with Karma, Tracy. A faint line is a line!! Congrats!! That is so exciting!!! I would definitely go out a buy a digital though, just to be sure.

I'm sure everything will be great at the wedding. You will only be like 3 months, so maybe you will be the lucky one and not be showing yet wink.gif

The girls are right, any line, even a faint one is a line. Congratulations!!!! Chances are in 2 months you will not be much bigger and your dress will still fit. Then again I gained weight right away but that was because I had really bad morning sickness and carbs were all I could eat, so I ate a lot of them :) But most people do not have the same problems I did, I just got lucky. My fingers are crossed that you have a great pregnancy and no one will be able to tell in your dress. Congratulations again, I am so happy for you.

My first PG test had a VERY light second line. I took that one in the evening. When I woke up the next morning I took another and it was darker! Congrats!!!!!

Oh and Tracy, I was 6.5 months pregnant when we got married...of course I was huge and had to get a new dress, but I think you will be okay with only 2 months to go. Being pregnant when I got married was not ideal for me, but since I could never get pregnant before I didn't mind so much! And, I like our pictures, so that's a plus!

I had my 33 week appointment today and I asked my Dr. about the induction and she said that she was fine with it as long as I was dilated a little and my cervix was ready for it. I'm pretty sure it will be, with my 1st I was at a 2-3 and 70% effaced by 36.5 weeks. So it looks like she will be here around 39 weeks, if she doesn't come on her own sooner!

That's good news! Hannah and Noah may end up sharing a birthday! :)
Did your first baby come early since you were dialated and effaced by that much?

No, he had to come early because I had severe pre-eclampsia. My BP was like 210/150.

My Dr. is keeping a very close eye on it this time around, since my risk of having it again is pretty high (30-40%). smile27.gif

LOL..yeah. They were expecting me to go into seizures at any moment. The crazy thing was the appointment before that (a week before) my BP was totally normal.

Karma - that's great that your doctor will induce early. That must make you feel sooo much better since you can kinda plan for it. Unless of course Hannah has her own plan :) You never know!

I had my 32 week appt. yesterday. I gained 2lbs - up 26lbs total. Blood pressure was 120/80 - - heartbeat was 156bpm. He said my sono from last week looked great and that Luke was going to be close to 9lbs. I go back in 2 weeks and they will do the swab test thing.

We also had our 2nd childbirth class. It was SO good and answered so many of my questions I had and also made my "birth plan" list alot smaller.

The hospital's standard rules are:

-no continuous monitoring - just every 30 minutes....perfect!

-no iv with fluids until needed by the cap thing they put in your hand when you get there...perfect and exactly what I wanted.

-no students...only residents

-the baby will go straight to your chest when delivered. they wipe them down and you bond for a few minutes until he goes to the warmer with dad. they do all the measurements and fun stuff them they bring him back to you to breastfeed. THEN you go to your room and dad goes with the nurse to give the first bath and foot prints. they don't give a bath until like hour 7 after their born.

-all suites are private!

-one nurse per room. so, me and Luke will have the same nurse so there is no confusion.

I might be missing something, but I was so relieved after the class last night and I'm feeling so much better about everything.

Plus, the beds are too freakin cool. you can adjust it a sitting/squatting position. It was crazy!
