I don't see the doctor again till my third visit.

Don't worry about the Zofran if you end up needing it. I took it a few times during my first trimester and it is completely safe. I know a few other pregnant women who also had it prescribed to them. It really didn't help much with my nausea though, it's good for keeping food down if your not able to keep anything down. I also took Phenergan and it actually worked better for the nausea for me.

Also, just to let you know with my first pregnancy I had the worst morning sickness the entire pregnancy, It felt like I survived on crackers and water the entire 9 months. Now with this pregnancy the nausea was only bad for the first trimester, now I can eat anything. So you might get lucky and not have bad morning sickness this time around.

I am under a lot less stress and at a better point in my life with lots more support so I hope that helps!
Yeah, that's about how bad mine was too, I only was hospitalized once though. :-( I also ended up with pretty bad pre-eclamsia towards the end. I'm hoping to avoid that this time too. You might be right, the stress factor might play a part in it. I'm in a much better place in life now then I was 6 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it doesn't get too bad for you!!

I know you feel like poo when you have morning sickness, but morning sickness is really good for you and the baby because supposedly it is your body ridding itself of toxins.

I never got it...I got naseus a few times while brushing my teeth, but that's it. sad.gif

I know the meds scared me at first too, but you also have to live through the next 40 weeks and sometimes the tylenol is the only thing that got me through.

I was forced to take the zofran after being hospitalized in December, they told me I could spent the next 9 months hooked up to an IV or take the freakin meds so I took the meds. I was freaked out too but so far she seems to be perfect inside me so let's see when she comes out.

Mo I hope you don't get morning sickness

I went to the Dr. today and I am starting to dialate but nothing major. We are still hoping for father's day but otherwise she will schedule an induction if I haven't gone into labor by next Friday.

Okay, RE: Cetaphil..I am not too sure I like it. It doesn't lather up like my other face soap, which I am not too sure I like. I am still going to keep using it and see if it helps my facde clear up though!

Did you know that there are NO cute maternity bathing suits? The regular sizes are too small in the bust area (even an XL!!). Blah.....I don't wanna wear ugly suits in Mexico!

I know - maternity suits are not cute at all! Have you tried plus sizes? I'm not saying you are big and need them, but I've seen alot of plus size women in some really cute suits! It might be better than the alternative.....an ugly suit in Mexico!

CeraVe is the same way so don't try that if you want to go with something else. (But it actually hydrates and doesn't dry out your skin like a lathering soap can.)
