Mommies to be check in

Ok...I don't want to step on toes but I don't why I would post something untrue. But again I'm putting the link in here.

State Exemptions Information

My playgroup here in Colorado all but 3 of the moms have their children in public schools. And almost all of them are non vaccinating. Some used religion, one used medical and the rest used philosophical exemption. Yes it does depend on your state what is legal. Some states do only religious. I believe its Mississippi and West Virginia. I've had to fill out vaccine exemptions with previous bosses and I've also turned them in. It really isn't that hard. Also b/c the government cannot discriminate against religion on a religious exempt form you don't have to be specific. The one I filled out for my previous family I wrote "Due to our Christian beliefs" and that was fine. If you want very supportive mothers who both delay-vax, vax and anti-vax this forum is a lifesaver and wealth of information.

My husband has never been vaxed and his parents are public school teachers. (Retired) Most of his friends around here are also not vaxed and they all went to school together. They used philosophical exemption. Of course if you need any more links let me know. A family friend is a family practitioner and his wife is an ER doc and always send vaccine information my way. Of course all the info I posted can be found if you google vaccine exemption.

ETA: I also second the Dr. Sears book on vaccines.

So does it look like I dropped, or am beginning to?

The blue pants was taken at 39 weeks, and the green was today at 40 weeks. I have an appt. tomorrow, so hopefully I will get some encouraging news!

To me it does look like my belly is beginning to "sag"!

Oh, I definantly like so. But I wouldnt call it sag. LOL Your dropping...I cant believe you havent had the baby yet. How log did they say they are going to let you go overdue? My doctor will be sick of me by then and want to get rid of me. With my daughter I got induced the day before her due date.

My doctor doesn't want to induce, so she is going to let me go until the 10th. I am not happy about it since I have been done with work since last Monday, but I have been told that if I should wait and see if it will happen naturally since it is usually an easier birth. I have heard that when we get induced the labor lasts longer? This is my first, so I have no idea! I just know I can't talk my doc into inducing sooner.

That stinks. I cried. LOL. I got induced with my first. It was long I wont lie, but The first half you dont do anything but watch TV. I went in a 11am they broke my water at 6pm. Got an epi around 8pm. Slept on and off thru the night, cus the nurses wake you to check you. And I had her at noon the next day. For me it was easier than the 10 months to get there.

Angel, when do yu get to find out for sure what your having? We go on Thursday morning.

I had my daughter naturally, not by choice though. I didn't make it to the hospital in time so she was coming out on our way to the hospital. I got induced with my son a week before my due date because they wanted to make sure I was in the hospital that time. Everybody's induction is different but I will tell you I would never do it again. I was in labor with my daughter for 2-3 hours and with my son they broke my water at 9am and I didn't have him until 11pm. Not to scare you or anything because everybody is different, but I'm going the "all natural" way this time around. But when she's ready she will come.
