Do a google search Lisa, I actually read a while back that its really bad to use while pregnant, I can't remember why because I don't use it, but I remember being surprised at all the things you can't use.

I think it really again depends on your doctor.. I did a search on The Nest when my face started going crazy. Some girl's doctors said it was fine because you put it on and wash it off that it doesn't really absorb into your blood but others said their doctors said no. Maybe just check to see what your doctor says about it.

I know that my mom scheduled me for a facial a while back and the woman wouldn't do a normal facial because of the sacylic acid.

Mo, I also had precancerous cells removed...cyro something or another was the procedure. I was very worried I would have an incompetent cervix also....I will be 19 weeks on Monday, so I think I am in the clear....It is so scary. I hope everything goes fine for you...we are here for you.

 

 

RE: Facial cleansers....if even some doctors think it's a bad idea, that's good enough for me. One less thing I have to worry about in regards to the baby. I am staying clear of the salicylic acid for sure.

 

I am going to buy Cetaphil tomorrow since I am out of my Oil of Olay!

I'm just now getting caught up on this thread, I'm a little behind. Wow, no salicylic acid, that one is new to me. I'm pretty sure my beloved "Philosophy products" don't use it so I think I'm in the clear.
