MS Word - how to create an upside down text box?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me how to create an upside down text box in Word? I am at my Dad's house and his computer is all messed up. They don't have PP, which I am pretty sure I know how to do this in there, and there help isn't installed. I did a quick search online as welll, but no luck. Help please!!

Do you want to change a text box or actual text? I think this will work just for the text box(if that makes sense), its a little tedious, but may do what you're trying to accomplish (I think, lol) I cant remember the easier way to do it!

Create your text box. Then right click on the border, and choose 'copy'. Next, on the edit menu, click 'Paste Special'.

Then paste it as a picture.

You should then see the rotate and flip tools on the actual textbox or the drawing toolbar to manipulate the new box exactly as you want. It may look a little blurry when its flipped/rotated, but I think it will still print ok.

Let me know if my directions arent clear.

Hope this works!
