Flashlights for OOT bags?

So, FI wants to throw flashlights into our OOT bags - mostly for the 15 or so kids that will be there, but also just in general. The paths at our resort are lit just fine to see where you're going, but not more than that.

 

The problem is, I can't seem to find any flashlights that are less than $3-$4 each (including batteries), unless I order 250 or so.

 

Anyone have any bright (yes, that was intentional) ideas?

As much as I hate to recommend them right now (feeling burned on the bags they sent me, which weren't as pictured), cheaptotes.com has these LED flashlights listed @ $0.99 each.

Check dollar tree or some other dollar store. I think I remember seeing some not so heavy ones and maybe even some on a keychain a few weeks ago.

Do you have an Ikea? I think they have flashlights for about $1 - and they sell batteries REALLY cheap.

We are going to go for the flashlights too. My fiance used ones that looked just like these, from cheaptotes.com, in Australia and he says that they work very well. Plus, as he says, "Everyone can always use flashlights."

I think it's a guy thing, but it is a good idea.

Question for you....
Your signature regarding your wedding with your palm tree? Where did you get that from? Did you make it yourself? I love it and I have been looking for something similiar to that for months.

I know that I'm asking in the wrong area, but I'm so new here that I'm still wet behind the ears.

Hi Heather! Thanks! I'm glad you like it - I made it myself in powerpoint. The tree came from the MS clip art gallery, and the rest is just different fonts and colors.

Is he stuck on flashlights? If not then maybe glow in the dark necklaces or braclets for the kids? I know they sell these at our local party stores.

oh we did the glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets and all the kids went crazy.
