Movie being filmed by my house

So my FI called me at work and said they are all kinds of trailers and lights and stuff being set up across the street from our house at this diner. I guess they are going to be filming a movie scene around midnight. He didn't know what movie and hasn't seen any celebs yet, but I did hear Johnny Depp was in town. So you better believe I am going to out there tonight with my camera!

I actually had Tom Cruise film War of the Worlds in my development and didn't even know it haha there's a scene where he's running into his ex-wife's house and its the same exact house as my mom's. Unfortunately it was only like 2 days of filming and they kept the spectators far back from him

Oooh fun!

They filmed all the high school scenes from 10 Things I Hate About You at my rival high school, and the scenes in the house at a girlfriends house, they actually paid them to move out for the time they were using the house to film! so cool. also lots of films have been shot nearby in seattle areas, but that one was in tacoma where i'm originally from. pretty cool!

I was wondering where they filmed 10 things I hate about you. I liked that house! FI found out more info, and unfortunately no Johnny Depp. It is a horror movie. Here is some info:

Platinum Dunes' Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing writer-director David Goyer's tale of a girl (Yustman) tormented by the soul of a boy who died in the Holocaust. Good will play the girl's best friend, and Gugino has been cast as her mother. Alexander will play a Holocaust survivor whose brother's spirit is returning. Elba will play a priest who helps Rabbi Oldman perform exorcisms. Coiro is the college professor of Yustman's character, and Cam Gigandet will play her boyfriend. Principal photography begins March 5 in Chicago. "

Nope, Johnny boy is in Wisconsin! That's probably why you had heard it. I wouldn't be surprised if he is visiting chicago quite often.

oh how exciting, even when I lived in LA I still used to get starstruck, walking down the promenade and seeing famous people always was exciting. Amy and I even went to high school with a few people who had been in movies, tv, etc. A lot of kids were children of producers and hollywood type people.

They filmed Bring it On at my university while we were there and tons of girls I knew got to be in it, we all went to the opening weekend it was so much fun.

I heard that on the radio this morning on Eric and Kathy. Johnny Depp is the only actor I had heard was in town... good luck
