I think you're 100% FINE w/ one color of petals! The mix is fun and nice, but most people just use one anyway. I just had one color at my wedding. And I'm with you on the Tangerine and Tabasco colors...those are my faves too.

I like the idea of mixing them to incorporate all of you colors. THe variances would also help look more realistic IMHO because real flowers have color variations.

 

I would pick orange, coral, and citrus. They kind of flow into each other...

If I had to pick 1 color, it would be the coral! But I really think any of them will look good.

I think one color is fine. I vote for either mango or tangerine. I like citrus too, but I don't think it would show up on the sand that well.

I love the tangerine, it seems to be lighter around the edges while still offering that great orange color.

carly, i got my flower petals at ikea - ORANGE! they had other colors too, but i don't remember what. They were like $1.50 per box and each box was the same as the ones that michael's charges $10 for.
