I'm a Newbie looking for your advice!!!

Hello Everyone!

I just joined a day or so ago and am looking for some advice from you ladies on where I should go for a destination wedding!!

My fiance and I recently got engaged on Feb 15 and have talked only a little about the big day. We....or I have decided that I want to go away for the wedding because I have never been anywhere tropical before. So I have been looking into some places but cannot for the life of me figure out where to go!!

 

Does anyone know a great place to go such as Costa Rica, Hawaii or any other place where I can do as little planning and cut down the costs bc at the moment my soon to be hubby and Iare just startin out.

We have some great travel agents (TA) on the boards.I would start there so you can find out the best location for your budget.

 

After you pick a loaction everything else is easy!

Congratulations and welcome to the Forum! The first thing I would do is sit down and come up with a budget and determine how much you want to spend. Then, you will be able to "shop" around the various destinations and narrow down where you want to go. I based my decision on cost, convenience to airport/hotel, short travel distance for children, all inclusive, recreation (water sports) and amenities available at hotel.

 

A travel agent is knowledgable and can help with some recommendations and help you narrow down your selections. Good luck!
