ok so it looks like sarah, lenita and ann are out of the boudoir closet!!! im waiting to hear from one more lgal that shes ok with her named being released then i will send you ladies another email later this week. i will answer the next round of questions etc...including those questions in your email today sarah. and you all can just call me with a CC for the retainer to hold your spot (that retainer goes towards the cost of your session).

OOhhhh - I am getting excited! I am getting electrolysis done tonight - this has nothing to do w/the session, don't worry - but this spa where I get it done has some really cute lingerie, so I am going to take a little peek and see what I can find. I am going to TRY to go shopping this weekend or next week too. YAY!

Now what I'm worried about is when/where do try to deal with doing my hair and makeup. I am like 3+ hours away from Chicago, so I already have to leave by probably 6:30am to get there close to 10...Ann, are you planning to do your own or have it done?

Oh yea - I meant to ask you girls about this too. I also wanted to verify with Leigh what time this is starting - it might be noon.

 

But I don't wear makeup - literally none - I don't own ANYTHING! But I do want to wear something for this - so I was going to ask Leigh or any of you girls that will be there if you would feel comfortable 1) helping me and 2) sharing your makeup or telling me what to buy!

 

And hair - hmmmm, I guess I'd just do it at home, and bring some stuff to touch up. If you need more time, we can always have you go last so you have time to get pretty! lol

 

I don't have any plans to get hair or makeup done professionally, but I thought about it - maybe I will ask the place I am going to tonight for electrolysis if they do anything like that. Or there's another spa just a few blocks away from me I could ask. And if people want to - I can make appts for all of us (assuming they can fit us in).

I had it in my head that it was 10, but hopefully I'm wrong- the later the better for me!

I'm not a big makeup person either (just normally wear mascara and a little blush) so I think I need to plan a trip to the makeup counter before the 9th!

 

I might be open to the idea of getting my hair and/or makeup done somewhere with you...let me know if you find anything. If now, I'm sure I can handle it...

The only reason I thought that is becuase on the first post - this is what I had ...

 

3) Leigh has the following times available -- Thursday, February 8th between 11am - 4pm and Friday, February 9th between 12 noon - 4pm. Whichever time slots works best for the most people will "win."

 

So we'll just need to verify with her what time she wants - anything works for me, but I am in the city already.

 

I'd be game for going somewhere, especially for makeup. I'm afraid of what someone would do to my hair - but I am also afraid of what I might do since my hair has it's own mind!

morning gals. i will send out an email later this week addressing some of these things. im hoping to start shooting around 11-12. i will go earlier and set some things up.

 

if everyone goes "together" meaning you ladies dont mind being around while the other gals are having their session then it will probably take about 3 hours. i will just set up something and rotate you gals in and out. but dont worry. all the pics wont look the same and we will do unique things for each of you too. i know ann is thinking something sporty spice cause shes athletic for some of the pics and everyone may not want that.

 

it may be possible to find someone on craigslist or something to come and do your makeup for not a lot of money. my only concern with doing something like that is time. sometimes these makeup artists can take forever to do the makeup. one thing to do is go to the mac counter and ask for makeup application. then buy what you like. even if you arent a makeup person, you will need to wear makeup for this shoot. and i dont want to scare some of you, but fake eyelashes look amazing!!! i have mostly armani and mac make up and dont mind sharing.

 

hey sarah, im going to be staying in the hilton by myself thursday night. do you want to come over and stay with me so you dont have to drive in the morning?

 

i will send out another one of those group emails later this week.

 

btw - if you emailed me anytime around 6pm last night until about 8:30 am this morning i didnt get it. problems with my server all fixed now

I might take you up on that offer Leigh...I'm just thinking of how much time it's going to take me to get ready and then drive there. I was already debating getting a hotel the night before.

I'm definitely planning to go to the makeup counter next week (I want to tan a couple times before I go). I used to wear a lot of makeup, but I think my style then and my style now are pretty different! I'll have to experiment with false lashes too- again, it's been a while and they've come a long way since I used to wear them, I'm sure!
