Hi ladies (and gents),

 

I've been MIA for about a month or so, spending most of my time searching for a new job.... When I do check BDW, there are SO MANY unread posts that I get so overwhelmed!! It's awesome that there are so many new members with great ideas, but I can't keep up!

 

Still no engagement yet, but it should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Mike claims the ring is in the house somewhere, but I don't believe him. I just dropped him off at the airport for a week-long business trip and I don't think he'd trust me in the house by myself.

I should hear back this week about an awesome interview that I had a couple of weeks ago. Keep your fingers crossed, because that's all I've got!

we miss you around here, how are the wedding plans going, have you found a place in Cape Cod yet?

There's a place on Martha's Vineyard that we have booked tentatively. They re-open in May so we'll check it out then. I wanted to get married there since I was a kid (before I wanted the Caribbean). So we'll see! I've stayed there before, but it has been a few years and they are doing lots of renovations and updates. Here's the link if you're interested:

Welcome back! Marthas Vineyard is a great place to get married! How exciting! Oh dont you hate the suspense of getting the ring. I went through that too except I had to wait for the ring to be safely mailed!
