I'm looking to see what location is the best for exchanging my Canadian Dollar. I want to pick a location that'll give me the best return for my money.

I can easily find the currency converters and such, but I'm having a difficult time finding out what the costs are in that currency.

For example, Cuba, the sheet I'm going by, says that for my one canadian dollar, I can get 0.98370 CUP ..... but how much does a bottle of water cost, a pack of diapers, and so on ...

I just want to make sure that I'm picking a location where I'll get the best return for my money,

If anyone can help it'll be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry can't help you there. I never even thought about dollar exchange when planing my wedding. Good luck

We didn't really think much about the currency issue when we started planning our wedding. My guess is that Mexico is probably a good way to go though. We're having our wedding in Hawaii (Maui), and I guess in a way we sort of considered it, just in that with our currency being so strong right now, it seemed like more of a realistic option for us than it might have been a few years ago.

You might want to look at some travel websites for information on currency exchange and how far the dollar goes in terms of purchasing power, etc. in different countries. Those kinds of sites would probably be a better source of information as far as currency goes.

In terms of the actual wedding and planning details though, you won't find a better destination wedding forum than this one!
