hi,like you we got stacks of brochures for all over the world and gradually whittled them down,we both fancied the caribean,all-inclusive etc...so we both wrote a list of things we fancied mine was a swim-up bar(never been to one but they looked gorgeous) his was somewhere with a jacuzzi and we narrowed each place down until we came up with cuba(it might sound silly but it really did help us decide).xx

Congrats and happy planning!!!

Try to avoid Feb and March as those are considered pretty busy months- especially with school breaks and such...

I had a hard time picking a location too, we finally decided on ROR in Jamaica, but the Riu is actually pretty big with 850+ rooms, so that wouldnt be quite perfect for you! If you end up deciding that it doesnt matter if its a big hotel than I would suggest the ROR because it is all inclusive, in Jamaica!! and its kid friendly!!!!

This website will help you out a lot, no worries!!!

welcome4.gif to the forum! Picking a location was definitely the hardest part for us. How many people do you think you'll have coming? What things are important to you besides kids and a smaller resort? Do you want a perfect beach? What price range are you looking for?

We really wanted a small resort that we could essentially fill with just our guests, and we were looking for a bed and breakfast feel. We also wanted someplace that had a direct flight from Philadelphia and NY, since that was where most of our guests were. After TONS of research, we finally settled on Coral Cove, and it was exactly what we were looking for!

Don't get overwhelmed :) You will find the right place and this forum has an insane amount of info and ladies who are going/have gone pretty much everywhere! Let us know how we can help!
