FI and I have decided to use the resort photographer, since brining our own would cost a fortune and we're trying to cut costs...but I am a little nervous.

 

I emailed the contact in FL and she is going to be getting us assigned our on-site WC and putting me in touch with her, but I haven't heard back yet.

 

Has anyone used them? Do you have any pics?

We are not using them, however, we are having one come in from outside.

Thanks for the link. I've actually seen those pics (and love how the cloudy sky looks), I didn't relaize it was the resorts photogropher.

 

I'm starting to get nervous, I'm not sure what to expect from the resort, they say no photogrophers from Mexico are allowed and we can't afford to fly someone down and all the costs associated with that......

We actually pushed their whole "no photographers from Mexico" thing and are bringing in Cecilia Dumas. They are charging us $650 but we feel that it will be worth it. We basically contacted Miami and said that we already had a deposit on this photographer (which was a bit of a stretch) and asked what could be done to bring her on.

Did you manage to sort Ceci out in the end? Thats great news. Saves you a lot of last minute stress. I hope it all goes well.

Hey Em!

Yes, I sent the coordinator in Miami a note making sure that we were not going to have any issues getting her on property and she said that we are all set.

 

How are your plans coming along? You are leaving so soon!!!

FI is tired of hearing me talk about it..he told me to just do what I want but if we end up spending $70k on a wedding in Mexico when we couldn't afford $40k for a wedding here, he's gonna kill me :-D

Yep we go a wk on wed. and dont you go wk on fri? Think we are all ready, starting packing etc. Got underwear, rings etc. Just got make sure it fits fitting on Fri and then pick dress up wk tomorrow-I hope. How are your plans going.So glad everything with Ceci was ok. Cant wait to see the photos. You written your own vows? Do you have to prebook sand ceromony? Do you need to take anything to do it?

Anyone else thinking of using external photog at Moon. It appears to depend who you talk to about it. Mine would not let me use Ceci but they let Claire. Have read elsewhere there a lot of inconsistencies.

Those pics from that slideshow look great - thanks for sharing! We are using MP's photog - I will let you know when we get back how they were - I am not worried though! I am sure it will turn out fantastic!
