Tulum Money Exchange

I searched and could not find anything on exchanging money in Tulum. I know most places will take US $ but, some of my guests are trying to plan how much money to bring and if there will be a place at the Resort to exchange into Pesos for going into town and doing some local shopping. My sis and I have some memories of going into town in Guadalajara and exchanging money with my parents and it being really wierd and unsafe feeling. How is it in Tulum? TIA

sorry i don't know the answer to your question. why don't you post it on the Dreams Tulum Brides Post Here thread...if no one knows, perhaps someone heading down for a site visit soon can check into this for you (we're not going down until June so that's no help for your May wedding...sorry!)
