What time are you getting married???

I can't decide what time to have the ceremony!! I am debating between 11, 1, or 6...I really wanted a sunset wedding, but now I am wondering if it might be nice to have bright, sunny pictures. What is the sun like at 6? I know it doesn't set until around 7:30 in June...

 

What time are you planning, and why?

 

I am mostly thinking about pictures...

if you have the option I would definitely avoid the middle of the day

not only will it be tough on your guests due to the heat, but it's the most challenging time of day for photos due to the harsh shadows

We are getting married just before sunset in November (5:00-5:30pm). I hope we can get the ceremony done in time to get pics!

We are getting married at 5:00pm in May and doing pictures between 5:30 and 6:30ish. Iv'e always preferred evening weddings. I would avoid middle of the day for sure. You will be way to hot!

Avoid the middle of the day - we are getting married around 3:30 in November (when the sun sets at 5:00 - 5:30) and I stil think it's going to be really warm!

We have a 2PM ceremony....I know it sounds early, but the estimated sun set in Cancun in January is about 5:30, so it's more towards the end of daylight. And we have the rest of the day planned with things...Pics, cocktail reception, reception, drinking, dancing...

We are getting married at 5:30. I am sure 6 is likely what time it will actually start in "mexico Time"!
