I honestly love them both and would like to get either of them if I were your BM. If I had to pick one, I guess it would be the straw one because it's "beachier" (I know that's not a word...lol!).

I love the straw bag... it is super cute. But I voted for the canvas... because I think the girls may use it more.

The canvas bag is probably more practical ... BUT I love the straw one - to me it's much more beachy!

I say the canvas bag because the straw bag will be very hard to pack and you wouldn't want it to get wrecked before you get there.

I definitly vote for the canvas bag. I do like the straw bag but it would be harder to pack for sure.

I do love both of them Tara, but I would go with the land's end bag. I have one, and it's great. I use it at work, as an overnight bag, etc...it's very practical and the quality is excellant. And if you monogram it, the girls are going to feel oh so special.

I have a straw bag that is beautiful but it is really falling apart. If they get too dry they start to shred.
