I love when people go for site visits, I feel like you get better and more realistic pics of the resort. Looking forward to them!!!!

Isn't it great?!?! And everyone here is soo helpful! smile159.gif

I'm getting married at 4:30 at the chapel. For those of you who haven't been there it is a beatiful, romantic place. Drawback is it only seats 30 but there is some standing room in the back.
Still haven't decided where to have the cocktail hour but I know we have the seaside grill reserved for the reception.

Any ideas for the cocktail hour, ladies? I was thinking of the main lobby or maybe on the beach?!?!?

you could have the cocktail hour right in the courtyard outside the chapel - i think its a lovely area (from pics i've seen)...or the beach works too!

do you know if there is room for dancing at the SG? the pics i've seen so far are helpful, but don't really give you a sense of how large or small the space is...we're expecting about 100ppl so I hope there's enough room for all the tables a DJ and dance floor...or maybe we could just set up the dance floor on the sand outside and surround the area with tii torcheshuh.gif

There is definitely room for dancing at the seaside grill. I am expecting around 70 and Sandra said that would only take up half of the restaurant. The other half would be either for the music group or dj (haven't decided yet) and the dancefloor. I haven't asked her about the dancefloor yet...whether they can add a platform or do you just dance on the regular floor.

  • 2 weeks later...

Here are some places to see the pictures

Dreams Tulum website (keep browsing through the pictures on the main page, there are many and the chapel is towards the end)

Dreams Tulum Resorts & Spas: Unlimited Luxury Defined

and then is one on this website (found it when googling dreams tulum chapel). It's the second picture

Dreams Tulum Resort Spa | Dreams Tulum Mexico | Dreams Tulum Reviews

So I was right in the facebook group when I said 5 rows on each side, so 10 benches total and each bench holds 2 people.

Maybe you could squeeze 3 people per bench, or have some people stand in the back.
