They are pretty true to size... However I did get a 9.5.. ordered the 9 first and wanted a little more room.. Try them out, I love them!

I was wondering about this too. My dress hem is being done for the 4 inch Badgley Mischka shoes I picked out but I am 5'1 so when I hit the sand I know the hem is going to drag. I was thinking of going for wedges in the sand. What is everyone else doing about hem length and sandals?

I'm in the same exact boat JanineA....I'm wearing 4" heels and I'm 5 1". Married in the sand, and I don't think my resort does those wooden aisle runners. I have searched and searched for fuschia wedges, but cannot find any that are 4".

My last resort is to go test out my shoes in the sand by my house, and maybe I'll just need to walk on my tiptoes. I mean, even if you wear wedges, you're going to sink right? Thoughts?

From what I heard, the sand is pretty tightly packed in the areas where the wedding arch is set up. That might help if you are wearing wedges. But pointy heels will sink for sure sad.gif How about just a thick heel if you can't find a wedge?

I will totally have to find those. Can't wear them to my wedding (beach then deck so no pointy heels) but I can wear those any other time. Thanks!!!!!

My dress was hemmed for me with flats for the ceremony and at the reception if I want to switch to flats at any point for dancing. I will be wearing high heels (4" or so) but it will actually help since we are doing a surprise dance so at least people will be able to see my feet somewhat and I won't be stepping on my own dress too much. I think it's most important to make it for the reception since you will be moving/dancing. At the ceremony, you will just come out, stand, leave so it can be too long.

I'll try to find search out some high wedges for you! How about these, they're 4.5' and the bow might be cute w/ your wedding dress.

Ok shoe girls!!

Two things....1) if you arent looking for a specific color of shoe check out Bridal Gowns, Bridal Dresses, Bridesmaids Gowns & Formal Dresses they have a NEW for 2010 shoe line - downside, so new that they are a little hard to find and none of them are dyeable, but super cute! I personally love the Star and Princess styles.

2) if you have a specific color in mind (im doing tiffany blue) then check out Paradox London - Wedding Shoes and Bridal Accessories their pink bridal line is all dyeables, but they are flirty, and not the typical dyeable looking shoe - and really well priced. I was lucky enough to find a shop that carries them in my area....got the Margarita for myself - and the shop even dyes them black for free after the wedding if you want!

just thought id share!
