Just picked these out for the bridesmaids.

I was originally going to look for silvery white wedges to match my dress as we are planning to do both our ceremony and reception on the beach... however I recently stumbled across these really interesting things called heel buddies or something like that - they're like a little platform that your high heel slips into so you don't sink into the sand! I'm going to order a set to try, and then I can get a cute pair of heels because my dress is a little too long for bare feet, plus the hot sand...

But I need some help! I have no idea what kind of shoes to wear with my short wedding dress. Here is the dress

 

I can not decide whether to go with white shoes or one of our wedding colors (orange and purple); heals, wedges, or flats. Any ideas? We will likely be getting married on grass, so I am not sure heals would work.

I'm thinking of getting these too, they're available at www.seaheart.com for $19.95. They're great and don't have the high price tag of other barefoot sandals.

I would go for wedges if you're getting married on the grass.  I think you'll want some height with the short dress, but traditional heels will be difficult in grass.
