You can get the crystals at michaels and there is a special heat tool that attaches them.  They are in the bead aisle.  Sorry I dont know the exact name but it is pretty cool!

They look great venus909!  I do not think I would have the patience for it so they would look horrible in the end.  I am impressed that you glued on all those crystals and they look so professional all the way around!

I think I used a few hundred crystals on it, I used 4 different sizes.

Awww thank you sooo much!

This is how I did it. I ordered the flat back swarvoski crystals from dreamtime creations (http://www.dreamtimecreations.com) The sizes I got I couldn't find at the local craft store (Joannes or Michaels) I used 7ss, 9ss, 12ss, 16ss and a few 20ss.  I used E600 glue and I used a wax tool (it's called a jewel setter) to pick up each crystal and place it. I also used a syringe kit to dispense the glue, but that's not necessary.  It was easier for me because I didn't need to spread the glue on.  I didn't use the hotfix crystals because the when using the hotfix tool it sometimes leaves gaps in between the crystals and I wanted all the crystals to be flush next to each other.

I worked in tiny sections because the glue does dry fast.  I would dispense a bit of glue, enought for like 5 crystals and then place the crystals and did that till I covered the whole heel.
