I have found by being a professional photographer who specializes in Destination Weddings that the smaller the Wedding the better. You can still have your wedding that day but maybe only with the people who really do care about you. Its not like the other person getting married is your sister or brother. take my advice and have your wedding the day you want but maybe instead of having it somewhere pretty expensive there are many other beautiful Mexico Destination spots that everyone can go and enjoy. that sucks that she is getting married around the same time you had planned, but you can just change your date!

Maybe even pic a Friday or Monday.

I was married there in February and it was perfect!
