Sorry that this has happened but there have been some silver linings. Did you have a 2nd choice on the island when you picked this one. Will they be able to honor your wedding.

Good lord. I envy your patience and sense of calm. That is definately a big bummer. Thankfully you have a few months to sort it all out. I can't imagine what will happen to all of the brides with weddings super close. That is very sad for the hotel staff. I hope it all happened for a reason! I'm sure you will pull off a beautiful and elegant wedding whereever you end up Alyssa! Good for you for not letting this get to you too much!!!

Well girls, i don't have a solution yet but we are working very closely with TA Dina and one very, very beautiful resort in Maui to see if we can work it out - i don't want to post where yet b/c i don't want to jinx myself. so say a prayer or keep your fingers crossed that this works out - i will keep you posted!

 

PS - i am looking for suggestions / ideas for how to tell me guests of the new booking / lodging info.

I think I'd phone them. Most people are going to have questions and I think it would be easier to do by phone. If there are lots of people to be contacted maybe you can get some help from parents or bridesmaids?
