Hey Ckitagawa - we actually knew about Hotel Molokai but never considered it an option. Even renovated, it is not the level of luxury we were looking for for our guests and wedding events. I have heard the food there is yummy especially since the new chef (one of the past contestants from Top Chef came on) but thanks for the post.

Thanks Tara! everything has worked out so much better - we are having an even better event and our guests are super, duper excited to go to Kona. I completely agree that everything happens for a reason
