Breakfast:
1. Freeze dried scrambled eggs with sausage bits (yes, it sounds gross, but you have to nuke it for about 1.5 minutes and then it's actually pretty good.)
2. Granola cereal - this one ROCKS!!!!

Lunch:
1. S'mores bars - YUM!!!
2. Cheesey potatoes
3. Fettucini
4. Chicken a la king

Dinner:
1. Pizza (anyone of them, I think there are three different kinds)
2. Mushroom Rissoto
3. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes
4. Cheese and spinach ravioli
5. Vegetable lasagna
6. Mac and cheese with beef

Dessert:
1. I only get the chocolate chip cookie
2. But the chocolate cake is good
3. And the chocolate pudding is pretty good

Other items I've tried that I didn't like:
1. Anything with tuna
2. Chicken salad
3. Brownie

Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!!!!
This is so funny! I saw one of the Nutrisystem commercials last night. I went to the .com site and the food looked really great...but then I went to the Canadian site and the food is so different! The new commercials say there are over 50 new foods and the Canadian site only says there are 15 new foods. I compared both site and there is only a little overlap.

Anyways, I've been thinking about doing this for a few weeks so I just ordered it. I'm curious to see how much food I will have to buy at the grocery store to compliment the Nutrisystem meals. If you take into account how much the average person spends on food each week including dining out...this isn't actually it's that expensive.

Anyways I will keep you posted on if the Canadian food is gross too!

  • 2 weeks later...

My fiance and I tried this several months ago because it was on special at Costco. We got the favourites package (Canadian one). I lost about 6 lbs and he lost about 8 lbs in about 3 weeks. That was all we could take of the food. Personally I just could not stomach most of it. I have had the remainder sitting in my pantry for months. I thought about donating it to the food bank but thought that would be cruel. Now that I'm engaged I may try it again but my stomach is already turning at the thought. I think the best thing about the diet was that it really put portion control into perspective. The worst, besides the food, was that there were so many add on foods you had to buy and prepare that it is easier in my opinion to just buy your own food but be sensible and watch your portions. Anyways, I hope it works for all of you beautiful brides who are brave enough to try it!

  • 1 year later...

Well I sure am glad I looked this up on the site.  I saw the Nutrisystem deal at Cosco as well and I told my FI that if my dad decides to pay for the wedding I was going to try it ( I  need a little push to lose the rest of my baby weight).  Now I am going to think twice for sure.

The ladies that were talking about Quinoa have you tried the Quinoa tacos soooo delicious and healthy.
