I haven't actually made them yet, 'Sharon's Cakes' makes them. I'm planning on using a yellow cupcake as the bun, a piece of brownie as the burger, marshmallow fondant as the cheese, and yes frosting for the ketchup/mustard/relish....I think with that combo it will be hard for them to NOT taste good!

I wouldn't do balloons. I say just get some tealight candles and maybe some small flower arrangements. Are there going to be tablecloths? If not I would just put some kind of table runner on the table to dress them up a bit. Other than that I don't think you need to do too much. I love the cheeseburger cupcakes by the way. Those are the cutest things I have ever seen.

Are you allowed to hang lights? If so, white Christmas tree lights might be nice to add a little elegance. Or maybe some floating candles in a bowl with coloured stones on the bottom.
