Need Sand and Shells for STD Bottles

I searched other forums, seems like the only site recommended is the Colored Sands website...which is great but you need a $10 min, and I only need $6 worth...

 

So I wondered if there was another place to get sand and sea shells to put in my Message in a Bottle?

Try your local craft store, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc.

Hobby lobby has small bags of sand- natural and colored but I couldn't find small shells there. Micheals has small shells and starfish though.

I ordered my message in a bottle supplies from sand blast (someone posted the link already). The sand and shells were cheaper there than at Michael's, but I ordered the bottles and umbrellas too so I didn't have to worry about the minimum order.

I got my shells from Michael's - dont' know about the colored sand though...
