Dominican Republic or Costa Rica??

Hi everyone!

Planning to get married in November 2009 and am trying to decide between Punta Cana DR or Guanacastle Costa Rica. I have read alot of Punta Cana reviews but can't seem to find much on Costa Rica? Has anyone had a wedding there or been to one that is willing to share their experience?

 

Any info would help!

Welcome to the forum! I think Punta Cana would be easier to do since info is easier to come by, but I love Costa Rica!

I am not a Costa Rica bride but in high school I was an excange student there. I LOVED it. After planning my wedding in Jamaica I was kinda bummed cause Costa Rica never crossed my mind for whatever reason. It is a beautiful country. Tons of natural waterfalls everywhere and wonderful beaches. Not to mention everyone there is super friendly. (Atleast it was that way 15 years ago..lol)

I'm no help. My wedding is in Punta Cana and my family (mother) is from Costa Rica. I love both places! It is easier to find wedding information on Punta Cana.

i have been to both Punta Cana and Costa Rica and I vote Costa Rica (no offense PC brides!).

 

You can do so much more exploring, in PC most people stay on the resort
