I have 7 bridesmaids, and my fiance has 2 best men and one groomsman. The funny thing is, all three guys are way over 6 feet and big so I think it end up looking even because all of my girls are petite! I am actually thinking of asking the 6'8 guy to "carry" my 4'11 and 5'1 bridesmaids up the aisle, lol just kidding. I think it is kind of sweet to have the groomsmen waiting with the groom and the bridesmaids come down one by one, kind of like we enter this as separate entities but when we leave we are all connected together. I also think it adds to the anticipation of the bride :)

We also have an uneven bridal party. 3 BM and 5 GM. Not worried at all. I think we'll likely have all the guys up front and then the girls will walk down the aisle one at a time. My sister is walking me down the aisle. That's the best part of a destination wedding- there are no rules, you do as you want it!

Yes, I love how destination weddings are "anything goes."  Our wedding party is strictly family so its uneven (not to mention a wide range of ages) - my sister is my MOH, my fiance's brother is his best man and his 2 sons are groomsmen.  We didn't want to leave anyone out, but I didn't want to ask 2 friends just to even it out and deal with which 2 to ask.  The men will all be up front and only the MOH will walk down the aisle.

skp1 - I am doing the same thing, family only so you don't have to worry about friends that can or can't make it.  My sister will be my only attendant and my fiance will have his father as his best man and his two brothers as groomsmen.  I plan for all of the men to be up front when my sister walks in, then me with my father.  After the ceremony I only plan for my then husband and I to walk back down the aisle (for the picture more than anything) - no need for everyone else to do a processional for such a short aisle!  I will want to do pictures with all of the guests after the ceremony (fiance and I will take pics prior to the ceremony due to the sun setting), so I will let the photographer take over at that point.

You know, I didn't even think about the processional.  Our aisle will quite short too!  I like the idea of just the B&G walking out and then the others can go along with the guests.  We're doing a group shot too after wards so I can send that with my thank-yous - I think people will appreciate it more than just a B&G pic.  We did our site visit last month and there is a gathering area between the ceremony site and reception/cocktail site with a beautiful view so we'll have the photographer herd everyone there before heading to the bar.
