That is a really popular resort. Is your heart set on that resort? If you check around at other venues, you may be able to get the same date at a different time. Or even stay at the RIU Ochos Rios and hire an outside wedding coordinator and have the ceremony off site and then come back for the reception. That was dumb of me sorry...I just realized they are based out of Negril, not Ocho Rios! But I'm sure there are Ocho Rios coordinators as well!

We got married at 11:00 am. That is not what i wanted. i wanted 4:00. i am so glad we got the 11:00 time. Yeah we had all day to wait for dinner but it was nice and relaxing. The sun was purfect for pictures. We had a few shadows but i thought it looked good. Also the sun sets behind the resort so you really don't see it. i quess it is what you want. I was upset at first but am really happy it was early. You can see my pics on my review. Good luck to you all.
