Question about having DJ use my computer/itunes to play music?

Here is my dilemma-I am still using the DJ at Azul, but just wanted him to use my computer/itunes play list. Is attaching speakers to computer fairly easy? I am just worried they are going to say okay to that but then when I get there they will say oh that can't be done. Have any other brides done this?

I have not done this personally, but I hired a DJ for a conference 2 months ago and he had his playlist on his computer that was hooked up to big speakers.

Check with your DJ. He may or may not be able to accomodate it - it will depend on his set up.

 

On the other hand, if you can print out the list he may have everything you want with no problem. Just be very specific that there are to be no deviations - that it's not a suggestion, it is EXACTLY what he will play in the order you want it played.

As a backup, you could burn your songs onto CD's and bring them with. It's a pain but that way your prepared for the worst.
