Also, I know the resort is huge but I've heard varying reports on how far it really is to walk from lobby to beach and how often the trains come around. Maybe you could let me know about that? I love to walk, but don't want my older guests or those with young kids cursing all the walking!

The resort is really big. I was there in 06. It is about a 10 minute walk (slowish pace) from the lobby/restaurant area to the beach area. We loved the walk - I mean, you're in paradise afterall! But I heard some people complain about it. I honestly can't understand that myself, but if you have trouble walking or something it could be an issue. The trains seemed to come fairly regularly, although I didnt pay a lot of attention, we never used them.

Going through pics and noticed these ones at the beach with the beach gazebo in the background. It will help give you an idea of the view from the beach.

You can pull the blinds facing the beach down for privacy. I have a few photos of my friends standing in it and you can see people and beach chairs on the beach in the background. However, if you are thinking on using check with the coordinator, maybe they ask people to move out of the line of sight when weddigns are taking place. I didn't see it when there was wedding there, only a set-up for a romantic evening dinner.
