Recommended Posts

Hello all I just had my wedding at the royal pdc on apr 10 and just want to quickly say how AMAZING everything turned out!!!!! Everyone can't stop raving about it! And I have to tell you about hotel la tortuga...we had our welcome dinner there and OMG amazing food staff and ambiance!!! Maria is absolutely awesome to work with!! Highly recommend!! My husband and I plan to go back and stay at that hotel.... Because of the amazing advice ideas and feedback I've received from here I feel I owe it to future brides to provide a detailed review and plan to do so when I get back from my honeymoon...just wanted to quickly drop in and let u know how amazing the resort and wedding experience was!!!!! Thanks guys!!

Morning ladies!

I started back in the 700's and have read up until now because...

WE ARE OFFICIALLY BOOKED for April 20th, 2012 at 4pm at the Oceanfront Gazebo. :)

We are just waiting to sign contracts to block rooms for our guests and then I'll be sending out STDs.

So excited!

Denielle

Thank you for the helpful advice about the bungalows, I passed it along.

Congrats to the new brides, welcome!

I also got my onsite coordinator, her name is Lili.  I believe it is the same coordinator that Lady Di had, and she loved her, so that's exciting!

Hi Bonnie,

I got this answer from my onsite wc about the white light dance floor - i was very specific it was not the coloured one....

"The standard set up comes with the wood dance floor  when we recently had the lighted dance floor we set that one just a couple of brides in order that they know the service but then we have a 700 usd surcharge for this kind of dance floor."

so i'm guessing it was a trial kinda thing?? i totally would consider if we had more people but for the amount of people we have, it's not worth the extra cost. would rather treat everyone to some something fun instead.

=)

I wanna order a cake topper with our faces and keep it after...it will be smth like $120..still hesitating.

I saw someone with a white light dancing floor (instead of a color one) I wonder if that is the standard floor.

I leave in 13 days!  Ehhhhh!  I was assigned Michel a couple weeks ago as my onsite coordinator, I've exchanged a couple emails with her and she's been fast and helpful.  I was a little hesitant at first since Zulma was suppose to be our coordinator and we met with her during our site visit but I decided to let it go and pick my battles, lol.

I just got some information regarding day passes from my wedding coordinator and I thought I would pass it along.

Right now they are running a special for 40% off day passes if you pre book them though the wedding coordinator when you purchase 3 days worth of passes (the three days you choose do not have to be consecutive)

9am- 5pm Per Person

Normal Price: $85

40% off: $51

12pm-5pm

Normal Price: $65

40%off : $40

9am-11pm

Normal Price: $105

40% off: $63

They are also offering a 25% off wedding day only pass if your guests only want to get one day pass.
