ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Hello ladies. I had/have my heart set on getting married at either the Royal or the Gran but I'm very unsure about the customer service.  I won't hesitate taking my wedding somewhere else if they don't want to treat me or my guests or any other bride for that matter with good customer service. I hope that all of your weddings come out beautifully and that they make sure your day is special and are well taken care of. Once I get back I will post pictures and a review.

I have faith that in the end, it will be worth it! Please do let them know how frustrated we are with the customer service! Looking forward to your site review! Have a great time.

i fully agree with diana. it's tough to deal with now, but it will be totally worth it in the end. and the more they hear about the service by the michigan office the better! good luck with your site visit and let us all know if you have any questions!

For all of you that haven't paid bills yet, I have been in contact with Michel and she says it is completely fine to pay your bill when you get there. However, I would still ask for an invoice to see if everything is correct. just an FYI. Although sometimes I think it would just be easier to get it done now but for some reason they seem hesitant to send any invoices over email (in my experience). Hmmm. Michel said they would absolutely not cancel my wedding for this, phew!!

 

Any way, off to my flight for chicago (its not Mexico but it will do, despite the rain!!) yay!

you have NO IDEA how much better i feel after reading this. hooray for one fewer thing to stress about! THANK you for sharing!

When I met with Zulma a couple weeks ago we told her about the Michigan office and her reply was "yes, it's different" and said that everything use to go through them but then Real Resorts hired this outside office to do most of the wedding planning. She said that by the time we get to her everything will be already done by the Michigan office.

Luckily (knock on wood) my Michigan WC has been fabulous, I don't have one bad thing to say about her. My biggest fear is that she's going to leave before my wedding a year from now!

I would give him a call - just because its getting sloe to your date. Just to touch base and make sure everything is all set.
