Zulma was very quick to respond to me today, she is so awesome! I won't have to worry about a minimum # of guest for a private reception, I am so so so happy right now! Even with my small group I can still have my beach reception! Woot!

Zulma got in touch with me today and answered all the questions I had. The checklist she sent is slightly confusing but that's ok. She told me that we didn't have to pay for the reception dinner for my dad and his guests because he is staying at the Gran. I guess it is still considered a Royal resort so they are included in the price!!! Yay! that saved me a ton.

 

More good news, I guess he can come to my room 30 minutes before the wedding starts, no pass needed. So that is great news too!

 

It's all coming together now and I feel so much more at ease now that the resort is handling it. I know you ladies are frustrated but once they get in contact with you trust me, it will all work out!

Did you have to do anything for Zulma to get in contact with you? My wedding is April 22nd and I haven't heard from her yet. One of my close friends is my travel agent and will also be attending the wedding, so that is making me feel better as she won't want anything to fall through the cracks. She is the one doing the communicating with the Michigan ladies now, Doreen and Carole, so it is taking th stress off of me. I finalized my checklist, faxed it to her, and she faxed it to Doreen who will look at it total everything up come back to me with her figures and also get the list to Zulma. Are any of you doing this same thing if your wedding is in the next month or two?

You are supposed to be working with a resort WC by now, I would find out about this. They say 3 months before the wedding you will be assigned a WC at the resort, however, I have been working with Zulma from the beginning because I had problems with the US office so I have been working with her for a year and a half now.

Actually, they said resort WC will get in touch two weeks before the wedding.

Im getting married the day after you, April 23 and i have yet to pay off my balance with Angie, i have not been referred to a resort WC yet and i have many questions that I am waiting to get answered.

 

Have you already paid your balance and when did you get referred to the resorts wc?
