We dated for about a year before getting engaged. We actually dated back in highschool for awhile too but then we lost touch. He was my first love!

We've been dating 6 years & it'll be 7 years & 2 kids later before we're married....finally!!

Dated for 9 years before he popped the question! It wasn't something I ever thought was going to happen so talk about being shocked when it finally did! haha

We dated for a semester back when I was a sophomore in HS and he was a freshman at a nearby college (so you can imagine how serious that was!), but since we were so young, when he went home for the summer we just kinda let things go. He transferred to a different college the next year so we obviously didn't pick things back up. 2 years later I ran into him but nothing really came of it, 2 more years later the same thing happened again, 2 MORE years later he found me on Facebook and we went on a date. Since then its been a year and a half of official dating/engagement...SOOOOO I guess you can say we've been together for 1 1/2 years officially, but more like 7 years unofficially : )

Facebook is a wonderful thing! Alex was the object of my teenage affection when I was 15 years old but he was too old for me back then (he was 20) We lost touch after I graduated from high school and he found me on Facebook years later, when I was living in the Dominican Republic. He swept me off my feet when he came down for a vacation, we fell in love very quickly and I moved back to Canada and in with him about a month after he left. We found out we were pregnant only five months after we started dating but we weren't freaked out about it because we knew we were right for eachother. We just got engaged last week and we've been dating for 2 1/2 years. Seems like a lifetime though! haha.

Mike and I dated for 7 years before he proposed. We were already living together, so I knew it was coming, it was only a matter of when. We're going to be together for 9 years before we tie the knot. Talk about getting to know your partner thoroughly well, LOL.
