How long did you date before enagaged?

officially together for almost 6 years when we got engaged, will be almost 7 when we get married. However, we were "unofficial", friends with benefits, on and off again for 4 years prior...We met when I was 19, and I am going on 29 this year. :)

You're a lot like me and my FI. We were both 17 when we started dating. It will be 13 years on our wedding day.
