The best lu'au on the island (according to the guide book) is at SMITH'S TROPICAL PARADISE (808-821-6895). Lu'aus are Mon, Wed and Fri.

Another one is Drums of Paradise Hyatt Luau (808-742-1234).

Renting a convertible mustang there is so cheap, cheaper than getting a taxi to take you around. We paid $50 I believe from Avis at the airport for the entire day. Also check out the Waimea Canyon. It's got breathtaking views. I'm going to find some of my pics to show you of Kauai. I'm still so jealous! You are going to LOVE this place.
