AI-what are your guests paying per person per night?

Recommended Posts

If you are going the all-inclusive route, I'd like to know what your guests are paying for night. Also if you could tell me how you got your rate; from the hotel, as a group rate, online website or through travel agent? We have never stayed AI before. The places I like are about $200 per person per night (without any discounts) and we are trying to decide if that is unreasonable.

My guests are paying $269 per person for 3 nights based on double occupancy.

I tried to keep the hotel cheap because I was worried about flight prices going up a bunch. They sure have mad.gif

I booked through a TA doing a funjet deal. I find funjet.com a great way just to compare prices.

$200 per night sounds high. But, some hotels are more expensive.

Our guests are paying $1000pp for 4 nights, airfare, and taxes, based on double occupancy. Singles are paying about $1300. We booked thru a TA and used Air Jamaica. We have a few guests who live in cities where Air Jamaica wasn't an option for flight so their resort only price was $610pp for 4 nights (~$150 per night)

I would not just compare the dollar amounts though, see what the resort includes in their price. Some AI include all watersports like jet skis, boat rides, etc and some only include non-motorized things like snorkeling. Also some serve top shelf drinks for free while some serve more "generic" liquor. So it just depends what important to you and your guests.

Oh I just noticed that you are looking in Mexico, $200 does seem high for Mexico
