Calling all Canadians - Where are you registered?

Alright ladies - Time to share our registry info! We are registered at the Bay, HomeOutfitters and Linens N Things. LNT is amazing, everything your guests buy for you they get 10% off and then have a 20% completion discount for you to buy things off your registry after the wedding..

We registered at The Bay (they have an awesome discount program when you want to buy things off your own registry) and Canadian Tire (for DH).

Does the Bay have the 10% buyout? That's what they told us which seemed good but then we went to LNT and it was 20% ... either way it's good.. I am having a hard time deciding on how much stuff to register for!

I dont think there are any discounts for people buying for you (but the Bay always has so many sales anyway), but for you to complete your registry the discounts range from 10% to 50% depending on what you're buying....we put our matress & boxspring on our registry, them promptly bought it to get the 50% off! Is that bad? LOL

SH%T that's a good idea! FI was just talking about putting a bed frame on our registry cause we are looking for a new king bed - guess we're going to be making another trip!

Just make sure that it's not on sale or anything because they won't honour the discount if it's already on sale (although no one told us that, and it didn't say that on anything that we received when we registered, and we argued till we were blue in the face, but they wouldn't honour it).

I think we are registering at Linen's N Things and possibly Home Depot for Jayson. He doesn't want to register anywhere at all cause he doesn't want people who are coming to Hawaii to buy us anything.. but I have alot of older relatives who aren't coming that want to get us something so I think we should have one somewhere..

we registered at The Bay, Home Outfitters, Sears and WalMart... The Bay and Homeoutfitters give you $25 gift cards, and champagne flutes and cookbooks... They also give you a final discount to buy things off your registry after the wedding, for up to 3 months I think... They were great! At Sears and WalMart we didnt talk to anyone, we had to do it ourselves, but it was pretty easy!

We did ours at Sears and it was really easy. We need so much stuff so we didnt have too much trouble finding stuff there!

I have the discount list for the Bay if anyone wants me to scan it...it's from over a year ago though so I'm not sure if the same things will still apply?
