I am feeling some stress now that my wedding is approaching (3 months). I have a busy career and it seems like the stress is taking some fun out of being engaged and wedding planning. It is supposed to be fun right?

 

I became engaged in September, and after waiting 7 years (yes 7) I did not want to wait much longer so I decided on April 21, 2007. We visit Mexico quite often and have picked our favorite spot Las Caletes - a beach hideaway in Puerto Vallarto Mexico. I had a small wedding in mind and now 55 people are booked with travel arrangements and I have not even sent out invitations yet, beware - the save the date cards really work! This is actually a good thing although I make it sound I have 20 people on my list that I have no idea about WHO ARE THEY??

Buying my dress a couple days ago relieved tons of stress. Now I am doing a custom invitation and I think I am going to choose ww.messageinabottle.com. They are not the cheapest out there but so far they have been the most responsive.

 

Wow, this board may be what I need. I already feel better after that little vent session . How do I sent a member a private message? Ana is having her wedding at the same location as I am, so we have lots to chat about..

Hi and welcome! Congrats on doing so much already. And do not stress you should be able to enjoy this. Las Caletas is beautiful and if you talk to Ann I am sure you can both help each other. If you go to the top right where the welcome sign is, you will see that it says PRIVATE MESSAGES. Click on that and then you go to SEND NEW MESSAGES on the left hand side and type in Ann's name AKH and whoila you have your message. Good luck with everything and let us know how we can help.

welcome welcome welcome!! i am so glad to see another Las Caletas bride on here! I think you're the 4th ... and we have 2 of them getting married in January - so make sure you stick around to hear all about it when they get back! I am getting married on June 8th - but I haven't really started many of the details yet. What are you doing for decorations on the table? What about music? I have so many questions!

 

What dress did you buy - I can't wait to see a picture!
