Just a quick note... I made my fans with the orchids and have been storing them in a cardboard box. Some of my flowers are getting smushed and don't look as good as they first did. I think I can fluff it back out when I get to Cabo but it still might not be as pretty. =( I'm trying to put styrofoam popcorn in between the fans to keep the orchids intact and am alternating the fans upside down / rightside up. I think it's helping, but now the fans are taking up a TON of space!

I think the fans look great. I still haven't totally decided what I am going to with mine, but I guess we will see once we get them. I haven't even gotten that far yet!

I used craft glue-strips (they're sold at Michael's next to the glue dots). I poked the flower through the fan, from front to back, and then flipped the fan over and taped the stem down using the glue strips.

Those are perfect!! I was thinking of something to do like that.. either with a folding paper fan or a raffia fan... But you just sealed the deal.. love the raffia fan!!

I love this idea! I plan to use orchids for my bouquet and the centerpieces, and this would be a nice way to dress up the fans as well.
