RIU Sante Fe Vs. RIU Palace

RIU Santa Fe was just opened in Fall of 07, altho newer its not the luxury property as described above. BUT- I would assume since it's new, it's got to be beautiful. The website for the hotel looks pretty good. Can't wait to see Sandra's review!

The difference between Palace & Santa Fe, is that, Palace it's more "luxurious" while Santa Fe it's somewhere in Middle-High Class Hotel.

Although both of them are actually pretty nice, Palace has nicer wedding sites, and if you book in SF you need to pay a "daypass" to go to Palace.

But that's mainly it, being new SF looks a lot better than Palace, I've been to both of them and SF looks better...

Cheers and good luck

PS.- You just need to put up with the "funny" smell on both of them

I have actually been to the Sante Fe twice before and absolutely love this resort!  If you are into the more wild fun party atmosphere, then this is the place for you.  I am planning my destination at the Palace instead, as I do not believe all my guesting will find the Sante Fe appealing - too much party party - even tho there is a quiet pool.  The good thing about having a wedding at the Palace, is you can use all the Sante Fe's ammenties - so for the younger crowd who wants to get rowdy then just head over to the Sante Fe.  Feel like a nice relaxing day by the pool?  Stay at the Palace.
