PV wedding planners and villas

I went with the most expensive one they offer (Andres Ramos) and it was $70 per head. It was really fantastic and everyone loved their food. I know that Dazzling Details works with them too because a friend of mine used them and when I looked into going with them, I found out that DD charges double ($140 per person) for the same caterer. We were able to offer two choices: Mahi Mahi or Steak & Shrimp. I can send you the other prices I have if you would like. There aren't any other caterers that they work with that are more than the ones we chose. You really wouldn't be disappointed. Let me know if you want more info....I can email the prices to you. We also used Elite Services for the rehearsal dinner at the villa and that was also WONDERFUL!! That was very reasonable.

Thanks for all the great info you've given us about your wedding. Can you tell me what the $70 per person covered - i.e. was that just the food? food and alcohol? did that include the tables, chairs, dishes, whatever? Sorry if it's a naive question but so far most of my investigation has been with the hotels and not individual wedding planners.

I am going to do the private villa thing in PV also. I have talked to a number of villa owners and a few brokers. I also talked to Carolyn at em-vallarta, who is a possible WC we will use. If you would like some leads and I would be happy to share some connections I have already made let me know. I am going there in May to start the planning process. When do you plan to go?

I think it is odd they won't give you a quote until you put down a deposit. EM-Vallarta and the other company I spoke to actually send me real invoices for weddings they did this year so I could see how much to actually expect to spend and the cost breakdown, it's so helpful in planning my budget. I would be more than happy to send them to you. I don't want to post them since I haven't decided who I am going with.

I just sent you the invoice. The nice thing is you can delete costs to see what it would be if you changed the invoice around a little. Let me know if you have any questions. I would love to know what you think compared to what else you have seen out there.

Yes, after problems with my WC getting back to me, I started to look around. I found Eva and Michael are very reasonable priced and have caterers from some of my favorite restaurants. So far they have gotten back to me fast and I am so much happier.

We are also working with Prisar. Eventhough also speak Spanish, most of the time I type my emails in English and they always respond in English as well.

Edna you are correct... I don't think the language should be an issue at all.
